So, what is all the fuss about Uranus Entering Gemini?
Whether we like it or not our lives are deeply affected and connected to what is happening in the sky. This is something the ancients knew and tracked, so they could benefit from the movements of the planets in the heavens and astrology was deeply embedded in astronomy.
Let me begin by sharing an overview on what both Uranus & Gemini have represented in the past through to the present day from an actual and archetypal perspective.
Uranus moved into Gemini on the 7th July 2025.
Uranus is a planet that takes roughly 84 years to complete an orbit around the sun, it’s an outer, slow moving planet and generally is associated with shock, surprise, chaos, freedom liberation, disruption. It is the higher level of communication representing the chaos and change that needs to happen for evolutionary purposes.
Gemini ruled by Mercury, a fast moving planet that takes roughly 88 days to circumnavigate the sun. It likes to put things in order! And can sometimes gets a bad rap because it takes on too much and becomes overwhelmed by the details. Mercury moves at lightning fast speed, governing the house of communication, travel and approaches with intellectual curiosity. Mercurial types are very social, quick witted and love exploring and innovating.
